You will be offered a position on a BSP student Production or short play.
BSP Showcase
The Backstage PLayers showcase student work. To have your work featured submit below. You can submit as many works as your would like to in any format. The amount of plays choosen for the showcase will be determined by the number of playwrights submitting. Actors and production teams with be allowed to choose which plays they would like to work on.
Process
Because we are in the midst of a global pandemic all performances will be on Zoom, Performed live.
The Production team for each play will establish a rehearsal schedule that works for everyone on the team.
All forms of theatricality are encouraged and we are enthusiastic to include Designers, Stage Managers and all theatre professions into online theatre. We strive to give the maximum number of opportunities for students to learn and grow. each individual team will be responsible for adapting the traditional roles to fit the needs of their zoom rehearsal and performance. Depending on the number of applicants and script requirements. Some roles may be combined.
